Our Philosophy

Our aim at Zlata's Little Lights is to nurture the spark of Judaism in each child until it shines joyously.  Our programs, philosophies, and goals are all molded by the inspiration and teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson.

We seek to create a safe, fun, and loving environment which will encourage children to grow in their love of Hashem, the Torah, and Mitzvot. Teaching inclusion and acceptance of others is of utmost importance at ZLL.

Each child is valued for his exceptionality and is encouraged to express his truest self. Creativity and excitement are an integral part of our educational goal, while individuality and a love of learning are our guiding principles in cultivating the precious neshamot/souls entrusted to our care.

Children are born intrinsically social and we want to be right there to help them navigate social experiences and gain social skills. Teachers encourage children to use words to express themselves, model how to resolve conflicts, and facilitate the development of empathy and concern for others.

Recognizing that the home is the primary influence on the child, we encourage parent involvement and honor differences in backgrounds and traditions. Our specially trained staff are sensitive to the individual needs of every child, ensuring that they play a pivotal role in your child’s positive development and progress.

We believe that the most important goal of our school is to create little Lamplighters, who will you use all skills and knowledge they gain from ZLL in order to spread their own sparkling Jewish light into this world.
